Terms of use
Last updated October 6, 2026
By using OQRO you agree to these terms. They are short on purpose. The most important one: OQRO is information, not advice.
What OQRO is
OQRO collects public records, such as SEC filings and US federal contract awards, and presents them with context. It is a research tool. It is not a broker, a financial adviser or an investment service, and it does not execute trades.
Not investment advice
Nothing on OQRO is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. A trade or a filing does not tell you what a stock will do. Past activity does not predict the future. You are responsible for your own decisions, and you should do your own research or speak to a qualified adviser.
Where the information comes from, and its limits
- Data comes from official sources such as SEC EDGAR and USAspending.gov. Every event links to the original record, which is the authority if anything differs.
- Filings are published after the fact and can contain mistakes made by the filer. We check for obvious errors and hide figures that look wrong, but we cannot guarantee that everything is accurate, complete or up to date.
- A notice of planned sale (Form 144) says a sale is planned, not that it happened. A contract’s maximum value is not money the company has earned.
- Some of the plain-English text is written automatically. See “How the plain-English text is written” below.
- News and announcements shown for context come from third parties. They show what was happening around the same time, not why anyone traded.
How the plain-English text is written
OQRO uses artificial intelligence, a language model provided by OpenAI, to turn the figures of a filing into everyday sentences, for example the short line under a headline or an explanation you ask for on an event page. We only give it the fields we have already extracted from the official record, such as the amount, the date and the role. It never receives your email, your name or your activity.
- After the text is written, we compare every figure in it with the filing. If one does not match, the sentence is dropped and the plain facts are shown instead.
- It does not look anything up, does not predict anything and is not allowed to say why someone traded.
- It can still be imperfect, or word something awkwardly. The official record linked on every page is always the authority, and a person at OQRO can be asked to correct a sentence at the contact address below.
Text written this way is marked “written automatically” where it is shown. Our methodology describes the full chain from source to sentence.
Your account
Give us a real email address and keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be at least 16 years old.
Fair use
Do not scrape OQRO at scale, resell its content, try to break or overload it, or use it to harass anyone. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.
Names, logos and photos
OQRO is independent. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any company, agency or person named on it. Company names and logos belong to their owners and appear only to identify the company. Photos of public figures come from sources that allow reuse, are credited next to the photo, and are used only to show who filed a public record. If you are shown and want a photo or a name handled differently, write to kokagugunava3@yahoo.com and we will look at it promptly.
Our content
The design, the way records are organised and the text we write belong to OQRO. The underlying public records belong to no one and remain public.
Availability and changes
OQRO is a young product. It may change, be interrupted or stop. We may update these terms, and we will update the date above when we do. Continuing to use OQRO after a change means you accept it.
Liability
OQRO is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on information shown here, including investment losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited, such as consumer rights.
