The 100 Mandatory Redeemable Preferred Shares, Series D reported as acquired in Table I represent preferred shares (the "MRPS Shares") beneficially owned by Bank of America NA ("BANA") that were acquired from Neuberger High Yield Strategies Fund (the "Issuer") at a price of $100,000 per share. Prior to this filing, BANA beneficially owned 400 MRPS Shares. BANA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation.
This statement is jointly filed by Bank of America Corporation ("BAC") and BANA. BAC holds an indirect interest in the securities listed in Table I by virtue of its 100% ownership of its subsidiary BANA.
